Fresh almond milk recipe

Easy to make fresh almond milk

Juan and I drink no milk for various reasons; ethical, physical, etc. We found other alternatives such as rice milk, soy milk and almond milk!

Our favorite is the almond milk; It is free of gluten, lactose or cholesterol. It is rich in vitamin E and selenium, two particularly antioxidant substances that help our cells to keep their youth and efficiency. In addition, a handful of almonds covers 12% of our daily protein needs.

It is very simple to make fresh almond milk. One of our students, Caroline, showed me how easy it was to make her own almond milk. She then uses it for drinking it like that or mix it with fruits and other juices 🙂 Caroline also has a great blog which you can find at
